Be on the Barn Quilt Trail

Any Hardy County property owner (whether commercial, industrial, agricultural, or residential) can make an artistic gesture and enhance their property by adding a barn quilt. If you would like to be part of the Hardy County Barn Quilt Trail, we’ve outlined specific guidelines for the design, construction, and installation of your quilt block and request a completed application to start the process.

You have two options:

• Create Your Own Barn Quilt: Design, paint, and install your own barn quilt. 

​

• Work with an LREF Artist: Let one of our talented artists bring your vision to life. The artist will collaborate with you. The LREF artist will work with you on design that is both unique and aesthetic, tailored to your property and preferences. 

 

Pricing for artist-created barn quilts is included in the guidelines.

 

If you would like our artists to create your barn quilt, VISIT HARDY (the Hardy County Convention & Visitors Bureau) offers grants to help cover the costs. Please use VISIT HARDY guidelines and grant application to explore grants.
