basket 2019.jpg

This simple basket has a classic look. It uses smoked reed for the sides and is built on a wooden base. It is 5” tall and changes from a diameter of 6.5” at the base to a 9” diameter at the top. The half Gretchen rim as shown in the photo is

new to classes at the LRAC. The other rim options are a simple woven round reed rim or a standard flat-oval rim. You will choose your rim style at the class. There will be a number of pretty tie-ons for you to choose from to decorate your basket.

All level students are welcome to the class. The basket shown is an advanced beginner/intermediate basket but beginners are welcome and will be given extra help.
