Acrylic Painting

Learn the steps in creating an acrylic painting by award-winning artist Craig Peterson.  Instructor will show how to lay out a painting, separate the painting into sections, chose, mix and apply colors. Students will create a painting on a 9x12 Masonite panel to take home with them.

Students need to bring:

• At least a beginner's set of acrylic colors. If possible, white, yellow ocre, raw sienna, burnt umber, forest green, permanent green light, cadmium yellow dark, cadmium red medium, cerulean blue.
• Brushes
• Small spary bottle of water
• Container to wash brushes
• Rags or paper towels
• Disposable mixing try (such as a styrofoam tray from a deli, white or yellow).
