About the Event
Jan Gillies will share tips and techniques for working with polymer clays, which have very low firing temperatures and can be done in a toaster oven. Having worked with these clays for years, Jan will share her experience with using these clays in combination with wire armatures, shells, acrylic paints and other mixed media to create larger pieces, though the class will be limited to making smaller items such as ornaments and/ or jewelry which can be completed and fired during the class. The fun comes with being able to unleash so much creativity without having to invest in specialized equipment, with very limited expense The possibilities are wide open!
Class size: Limit 12; Students under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost: Free (Sponsored by Lost River Educational Foundation)
